The 47-year old kitchen cabinets in our rental condo really looked ugly.  Tenant abuse, previous owners' attempts to varnish and the small but noticeable kitchen fire damage meant we needed to do something with the cabinets if we ever want to sell the condo. Installing new cabinets would be too costly and time consuming. We researched Lewis Cabinets, read the reviews, talked with their staff and checked out other companies. I have used Joel/Lewis Cabinet for many years for painting interior and exterior and drywall work and other matters. But very recently I had him and Danielle at Lewis Cabinet do a complete renovation project of our kitchen and wet bar area, with a total refacing of all our cabinet and drawers, including all hinges, hardware and associated items. As usual the work was excellent and we are delighted with the results. Joel and Danielle were so easy to work with, very responsive and did great work throughout this project. So glad we went with Lewis Cabinet Company for the initial part of our kitchen renovation. We needed our door and drawer fronts replaced. Joel listened to our ideas and measured. Danielle got back to us with a timely estimate. They were flexible, allowing us to make changes which created more work for them in the middle of the project. Joel discovered wood damage to one cabinet and the floor. It was fixed beautifully. We felt he did a good job sticking to our project until it was done. He did a good job communicating which days he would be at our house.   We chose to have the drawer boxes replaced too and we liked them better than the original ones.  He presented himself professionally and the craftsmanship is fantastic. The price was fair and he didn’t require total payment until we were satisfied. This is a quality business.  My wife and I recently used Lewis Cabinet Co. to freshen up our kitchen cabinets and we are delighted with the outcome.   We worked closely with Joel and Danielle throughout the process and found both to be great to work with.  They were responsive to our needs.  They took the time to understand what we wanted to accomplish.  They explained their process for refinishing the cabinets and I found their attention to detail impressive and satisfying.  Before the actual work on the cabinets began, Joel took every precaution to safeguard the rest of the kitchen such as our refinished hardwood floors, freshly painted walls and ceiling, new countertop, etc.  Lewis Cabinet Co. were highly recommended to us early on.
